  • Wally played for Canterbury in 1941/42 and again in 1946 finally retiring in 1949. He played 10 matches for the All Blacks including 4 tests in 1946/47. He was a member of the 2nd NZ Expeditionary Force (The Kiwis) team that toured Britain and Europe in 1945/46. His position was wing three quarter.
