  • Dad was single when he enlisted, and was 36 years old when he returned. He married at about 44 years old and had my sister, Wendy, at 45 years old, and my twin sister (Jackie) and I at 47 years old. The war interrupted his life - as a family we effectively lost a generation.

He was a great father, but like most others was affected by his experiences in the war. He made such an incredible sacrifice for our country.
