    Ces and family moved north from Ruatoria after the war to a little place called Tangaihi which is on the Pouto Peninsular south of Dargaville , where he ran a grocer shop for many years.
    During this time he purchased a small amount of land to start with which grew bigger as time went by and he finished up owning one thousand acre's of land.
    Ces farmed a dairy herd at first which was later converted into a beef and sheep farm. AWMM
