  • Alex was the father of my beloved friend Gillean. He was an inspiration to his family because of his many skills: broadcasting, acting, producing plays and he had a great singing voice.

May Alex be at peace now after his war service.

I am writing a small book about him for his family. I have got to know Alex better (and his sons & wife) through the research & writing. It is a privilege.

    May you rest in peace.
