    .... Public - Jeff - Other relative - 17 October 2017 - He was interred at the Italian Prisoner of War Camp PG 57 at Grupignano near the town of Udine in Northern Italy. When the Italians surrendered in 1943 he was transported by the Germans to POW Camp 4D. the Auckland Star, Volume LXXVI, Issue 120, 23 May 1945, Page 7 included him in a list of MORE MEN SAFE PERSONNEL OF N.Z.E.F. The following members of 2NZEF, previously prisoners of war, are now reported:-- . Now Safe In United Kingdom.... H. R. Clark, Herne Bay."
