  • Wattie.

We have spoken many times walking our dogs in Gore. I recall you knowing my neighbour John Watters from Invercargill who served with you & Stewart Craig (who lost his sight when an unexploded granade took his eyes. I also see the mural of yourself on the Gore RSA wall. You told me of your times in the Hawke Bay as a teacher then sheep shearer. Just thought I would lay a poppy here in your honor.
Stay safe my friend , catch up 1 day.
