  • I would like to Thank Ted for the many memories he has left, an amazing character with a great sprit , your old friend who is still alive sings for arriving passengers at Rarotonga Airport has many memories of Edward, Ted, still in his memory. Your wife Francis had strong memories of you not long before she died at Papakura Rest Home when I visited her, you were on the table in your Captains uniform in photo. I wished now I had stayed longer to look at photo albums she offered to show me I should have looked at them. Your loving nephew, John William Gunter.
