  • My great grandad who faught in the korean war in 1950 - 1957 is when he served, my mum always told me about him and how wondefull he was and unfortunately he died in the year 2000 and i was born in 2006, mum always said he would of adored me and loved me to bits and i wish he was around to see me. Mum told me he had lost most of his hearing in war due to the explosions being so so loud and im sure it was loud, she told me that once she missed the school buss and she was knockong on the window to let her in so he could drive her to school but he coulnt hear her. He had a cat after the war i was told, she was crazy, her name was Wizzy. My great grandad was also a carpender, when he retired he would build and make things out of wood sich as glory boxes and chappels and carve them in which he was extremely talented. I hope one day i will meet him in heaven.
