Notes: Appealed 11/1917 on the grounds that he 'would not kill or aid or abet in the taking of human life'; failed to parade for camp concentration; arrest warrant issued 05/1918; arrived camp under escort 7/05/1918; refused kit; CM classed him CO; Religious Advisory Board classed him not religious objector; F2: 'This man does not belong to any particular religion. He appealed, but did not appear in support of his appeal. In his Court Martial he professes conscientious objections.' AWMM
