Served at England) and step-brother Ralph Watson NZFA (killed in action at the Somme, France 1916). Viola served at the Abbassia Hospital, Egypt (1916-1919). After war service Viola returned to Australia, in 1919. and continued her career as a Nurse. She was Matron at Kenmore Repatriation Hospital, Brisbane for many years.Viola Everett was awarded an MBE (Australia) for her services to Nursing.
