    • John Thomas Thomas Halkett was the son of Thomas and Catherine (née Fincher) Halkett. John married Hannah Tavener on 20 April1907 at Timaru. They had two children - John Thomas Hawden born on 22 September 1908 at Geraldine, and Gladys Catherine born on 9 November 1909 at Timaru. Biography provided by the Timaru Museum SCRoll project. AWMM
