    • GRENIER, Betty (nee Maddock). Returned Servicewoman No. 814910, NZWAAC, Second World War. Peacefully on 1st July 2014, aged 90 years. Dearly loved mother and mother in law of Kerry Sharp (Palmerston North), Carol Hickey, Peter and Carol Sharp, Robert Sharp and Deb (Whakatane), Phillip and Karen Sharp (Marton), Christine Dougherty and Gavin (Tauranga). A loved grandmother and great grandmother.
      Special thanks to Dr Fergus Aitcheson, Dr Marla Williams, Three Rivers Medical, Home Support Services and Beetham Healthcare staff. The funeral service will be held in Evans Chapel, Ormond Road, Gisborne at 1pm on Monday 7 July followed by interment at the Serviceman's Lawn, Taruheru Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice Tairawhiti would be appreciated and may be posted to Private Bag 7001, Gisborne 4040.
