  • Sarah 'Sadie' Davidson was a New Zealand Registered Nurse, and served with the Queen Alexandra's Imperial Military Nursing Service during the Second World War, she was attached to the 2 Australian Imperial Force. She died of injuries recieved after her car collided with a train, while she was serving in the Middle East.

    Prior to her enlistment she was an Auckland nurse who spent two years at Rawene, and twelve in Auckland. She was in Britain for a holiday, when war broke out and she joined the Queen Alexander's Imperial Military Nursing Service. Daughter of Mr and Mrs. R. Davidson of Hikurangi. AWMM
