  • Captain McNab was a surgeon serving with the London Scottish when he was killed. He had previously served in the Boer War, and was an opthalmic surgeon in the Charing Cross Opthalmic Hospital in London. He leaves behind a widow and two children. His brother was Robert McNab, lawyer and politician. (Ashburton Guardian, 10th November 1914) AWMM
