    OBITUARY. Auckland Star, Volume LXIV, Issue 167, 18 July 1933, Page 9. MR HENRY A. CAMPBELL. The death occurred last evening of Mr. Henry Archibald Campbell, a well known resident of the North Shore, at the age of 63 years. He was born at Thames, being the son of the late Mr Angus Campbell, pioneer miner. Coming to Auckland as a lad, Mr. Campbell served his apprenticeship in the building trade under Mr. J. Ellingham, and became a master builder. He belonged to the Permanent Force, serving in the Royal New Zealand Artillery for 31 years, and was a first-class warrant officer. He was with an armed force which was sent to the Urewera Country to prevent disorders arising from native troubles, and on another occasion to Rawene, where Maori disturbances were quelled. AWMM
