    Surrey Advertiser - Saturday 05 January 1935 "The funeral took place at Worplesdon on Tuesday 1st Jan 1935 of Mr Charles Buchanan Dick-Cleland who suddenly on the previous Friday at Dream Tor South Ascot Mr 57 of age leaves widow ')' Dick-Cleland one of the pioneers of gold prospecting in Rhodesia and lie also fought in South African War taking part in 'the relief of Alafeking He lived for many in New Zealand and the outbreak of the War joined the New Zealand Expeditionary Force from which later transferred to the Royal Flying Corps He retired from Royal Air Force three years ago through ill health to live Glaziers Normandy It was only months ago he left there for South Ascot " Public - Paul - 3 May 2023 - Newspaper
