    • Son of Walter and Ethel Fowler who spent most time living in Motueka. On the Roll of Honour for Nelson City.

Listed in the NZ Gazette 1918, Vol.1, pp.1207 as a letter carrier living in Wakefield Quay, Nelson. AWMM
    • Lancelot's name appears on the Nelson City Roll of Honour. He was called up and attended Trentham Camp during WW1. He was called up in August 1916 very close to his 20th birthday. Family recollections suggest he got seriously ill - perhaps meningitis and was sent home. He was called up again in 1918 but did not embark for overseas.
During WW2 it is believed he served as a quartermaster in the Home Service. Public - Peter - Researcher - 19 September 2019 - family recollections
