  • On the 18th August 1941, Sergeant Johnston was completing a sweep, 40 miles East Shetland Islands, when they suffered Engine Failure and Belly-flopped in the water. All crew were able to clamber out, but lost one dinghy, the crew spent 4 hour in the dinghy. (The Goldfish Club). AWMM
