  • Born 17th July 1917 – 4 Haywood Avenue, Belfast Northern Ireland (United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland). Father Maurice Jarvis and Mother Florence Reddecliffe. Maurice Jarvis was an Engineer.

    Emigrated from Ireland December 1920 arriving Auckland New Zealand 21 Feb 1921. Settled in Taihape – Maurice worked for Cascade Brewery.

    Bank Clerk at Bank of NSW in Stratford Prior to War. After war became Bank Manager (assumed to be Bank of NSW).
