      Citation for Distinguished Flying Cross, 14 July 1942, "As an observer, Warrant Officer Hogg has completed a large number of operational sorties against targets in Germany. He has participated in numerous operations against enemy aerodromes in northern France, Holland and Belgium. He has always displayed great courage, while persistence and skill in bombing enemy aerodromes at night has been most marked." Citation for Bar to Distinguished Flying Cross, 22 June 1944, "Since being awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross this officer has completed a large number of sorties, many of them far into enemy territory and often in adverse weather. He is an observer of high merit and has played a worthy part in the successes obtained in attacks on a variety of targets, including railways installations and locomotives.
