  • Appears in K-Force R22440250, but did not serve there. He was the DCO (Deputy Commanding Officer) for soldiers returning while he was on the same flight.

    Served with the British Army prior to World War II in Palestine. Mentioned in dispatches twice during his WWII service, both with the Gordon Highlanders.

    In 1950 he moved from the active list to the Reserve of Officers with the honourary rank of Lieutenant-Colonel.

    Relinquished his commission in 1951 when he was appointed to a commission in the New Zealand Army. While with the New Zealand Army, he was seconded to the Fijian Military Forces where he served in Malaya. AWMM
