    CARMICHAEL, John David Born 3 November 1923. Passed away on 3 May 2014. RNZN4202 WWII -Passed away peacefully surrounded by family. Loved husband of the late Olwyn Mary (deceased). A very much loved and special dad, father-in-law, grandad / grandfather and great grandad of Nola, Ray (deceased) Noble, Melissa, Phil, Mary and Isla Dawson, Belinda Noble and Caitlin Hall, Alison, Paul and Jasmine Wheeler; Ross and Benjamin Carmichael and Tina Watson; Maree, Chris McMillan, Samantha McMillan and Gavin Stacey, Joshua (decased) McMillan, Imelda and Michael Shaw, Tabitha and Kieran Miskimmin, Demelza McMillan and Rhys Coote; Cheryl Carmichael; Sandra Carmichael and Kirk and Sean Morris. Memories are the best things, They last from day to day, They can't get lost, They can't wear out, They can never be thrown away. Sailing peacefully now dad.
