  • Hostilities Only (Royal New Zealand Navy List c.1921-c.1970).

    Posted to the cruiser LEANDER in 1943 and was presumably serving in the cruiser at the Battle of Kolombangara 13 July 1943 which was fought in the Solomons. He took LEANDER to Boston and then was sent to Britain. After passing through Royal Navy shore establishments he joined ACHILLES as she was recommissioned into the RNZN and served in her 1944-1945. AWMM
