    Admitted to No 1 Australian Field Ambulance, 24 August 1915 (diarrhoea), and transferred to No 1 Australian Casualty Clearing Station; to Mudros, 25 August 1915, and admitted to No 1 Australian Stationary Hospital (dysentery); transferred to Base, 15 September 1915; to England, 18 September 1915, and admitted to King George Hospital, Stamford Street, London, 26 September 1915.
    Found to be unfit for further service; embarked London, 25 November 1915; disembarked Alexandria, 8 December 1915.
    Admitted to 1st Australian Auxiliary Hospital, Heliopolis, 10 December 1915 (paralysis of legs).
    Commenced retuern to Australia from Suez on board HT 'Ulysses', 3 January 1916; discharged (medically unfit), Sydney, 4 September 1916. AWMM
