  • Service number
    WWI 868 AWMM
  • Also known as
Paddy Public - Shane - Direct descendant - 1 March 2023 - Oral History and funeral service announcement in the Christchurch Press Thursday Aug 2nd 1956 for the service on Fri the 3rd at Linwood cemetery. Don't know the actual date of his death, but would like to offer the date of his funeral service, Aug 3rd 1956 as close enough. I am his grandson, originally from NZ and now living in Alaska. He died the year before I was born. I heard some stories from my father about his time in Gallipoli and was happy to find this new info about his service.
