    Proceeded overseas to France, 15 August 1918; taken on strength, 49th Bn, in the field, 21 August 1918.
    Admitted to 13th Australian Field Ambulance, 4 February 1919 (adenitis tubercular); transferred to 48th Casualty Clearing Station, 5 February 1919; to 14th General Hospital, Boulogne, 8 February 1919; to England, 14 February 1919, and admitted to Fulham Military Hospital; discharged on furlough, 11 March 1919, to report to Headquarters, 25 March 1919, to march out to No 2 Command Depot, Weymouth.
