    Attested and served with the name William Mack. His sister, Agnes Latte wrote in 1920 "my late brother always went by the name of Mack as his correct name was too long".

    Son of James McCorquindale and Mary (later Moore), of Karaka Road, Thames and later of Auckland. She recieved a War Pension; signed and also made her mark when receiving Medals in 1921, 1922. Brother of George; Agnes Latte; Stuart McCorquindale (34480 KIA)

    Admitted to Hospital in England 16 September 1915 - 24 September 1915, 9 days with shell shock.
    Promoted Sergeant 22 March 1916. AWMM
