    Proceeded from Alexandria to join the British Expeditionary Force, 26 Match 1916; disembarked Marseilles, 2 April 1916.

    On leave, 8 August 1917; rejoined unit from leave, 20 August 1917.

    Appointed Shoeing Smith, 7 September 1917.

    On leave to United Kingdom, 19 March 1918; rejoined unit from leave, 3 April 1918.

    Marched out for return to Australia, 5 March 1918.

    Commenced return to Australia on board HT 'Pakeha', 6 October 1919; disembarked Sydney, 24 November 1919; discharged, 8 February 1920.
