    Admitted to 7th Australian Field Ambulance, Rail Head, 16 February 1916 (laryngitis); transferred to 2nd Australian Casualty Clearing Station, Ferry Post, 3 March 1916; to No 1 Australian Stationary Hospital, Ismailia, 4 March 1916; discharged to duty, 19 March 1916; taken on strength, 57th Bn, Ferry Post, 1 April 1916.
    Transferred to 60th Bn, 4 April 1916.
    Admitted to 15th Australian Field Ambulance, 14 April 1916 (optical examination), and transferred to 2nd Australian Casualty Clearing Station, and then to 1st Australian Stationary Hospital (defective vision); discharged to duty, 18 April 1916; rejoined Bn, in the field, 19 April 1916.
    Admitted to 8th Australian Field Ambulance, 3 May 1916 (influenza); discharged, and rejoined Bn, Hog's Back, 10 May 1916.
