    Report
  • Merlin Owen Pasco is noted as an important early collector of insects in and around Queenstown in the early 1910's. He gave specimens to many of New Zealand's leading entomologists who used them to describe newly discovered species. At least one of which was named in his honour - Meterana pascoi. His insect collection is believed to be held at the Southland Museum.
