Admitted to 1st Australian General Hospital, Heliopolis, Egypt, 13 August 1915; transferred to 3rd Auxiliary Hospital, 18 August 1915; to Helouan Convalescent Camp, 4 September 1915; discharged from A&NZ Convalescent Camp to Overseas Base, Ghezireh, 1 December 1915. rejoined Bn, Serapeum, 6 March 1916.
    Proceeded from Alexandria to join the British Expeditionary Force, 23 March 1916; disembarked Marseilles, France, 30 March 1916.
