  • Ray was our lovely step-father. He very proudly wore his War Medals each Anzac Day with his shoulders pinned right back as he marched with his comrades. Ray didn't actually like to talk of his War years, suffice to say that it was clear his time in the Solomon Islands left him with many challenging, negative memories.
