  • In memory of my mother's (Veronica Hannan nee Ormandy) cousin. Your contribution especially at Casino will never be forgotten. I appreciated the chance to be with you over the years at the dawn service in Wellington. I especially remember the year that you were followed from pre-dawn to the end of the morning by the DominionPost reporter and photographer. The photo of you and your medals taken with Hayley Westnra after she sang to the returned soldiers was beautiful. RIP Uncle Basil - love from Noeline
