  • W. Scollard of Blenheim, died at sea, he was lost on the Cruiser Bayano when it was torpedoed by the enemy whilst en route from Glasgow to Liverpool in 1915. ( Merseyside Roll of Honour)

    Born UK settled in Blenheim - served on HMNZT 5 Ruapehu with Main Body - then went to Britain & joined the Royal Navy in January 1915 & posted to Bayano AMC - killed when his AMC was sunk by U-27 off the Scottish Coast name on Portsmouth Naval Memorial age 35 AWMM
