    Bruce later served with 1 NZ REGT 57/59 as a Sgt In 6 Pl B Coy. For this he was awarded an MiD. In late 1965 he served in 2 Det NZSAS in BORNEO as a WO2. Following this the Major was Commissioned and served in VIETNAM as the 2ic of Sp Coy of 4RAR/NZ (ANZAC) After being the Area Officer at Area 4 HAMILTON retired as a Maj. AWMM
