    • Died in Nelson, buried in Marsden Cemetery. Wounded in action, 19 March 1970 – shrapnel wounds to head, chest, right leg, and loss of right eye, during ambush in bunker system, Nui Dinh Hills. AWMM
    • Bill died in Cook Strait when fishing for crayfish. His small boat was found the next day overturned off Cape Palliser. He was living at Makara Beach with his pregnant wife at the time. His body was never found. I was with Bill when he was wounded in action in the Vietnam War. He died only 3 months after being married. I was his bestman. He has a Services Plaque in Marsden Cemetery Nelson organised by his sister he never new he had. Public - Raymond Colin - Comrade - 8 July 2021 - Bill Keatch was a member of Victor4 Company Vietnam 1969/70.
