  • Served in Vietnam with 161 Battery RNZA as a Driver/ [Radio] Operator, 5.3.1968 to 10.3.1969. Initially with Battery Command Post, then went to work with 3RAR and 9RAR. Worked as a FO radio operator and then as a radio operator with the Battery Commanders Party in 9RAR's Command Post. During the changeover between 3RAR and 9RAR, November-December 1968, was attached to the US 11th Armoured Cavalry Regiment (‘Blackhorse Regiment') at Xuan Loc. AWMM
