    On his return from service with 2NZEF, Jack linked with the Every Boys Rally, a uniformed movement with the Open Brethren Church that had recently commenced in Auckland. Jack became leader of the Birkenhead Rally. (Source: Cenotaph Data Entry Form)

    In 1960 Jack was appointed Auckland Leader of the movement, a position he held until 1972. Jack Craven was a carpenter by trade and was the main driver of the building and development of the Every Boys Rally camp at Moirs Point, Mangawhai. (Source: Cenotaph Data Entry Form) AWMM

  • Jack and Olive Craven were wonderful neighbours to my grandparents in Red Beach. My sister and I used to visit them when we saw our grandparents and I remember them as lovely people.
