    • Andrew Todd was appointed the Chief Judge of the Maori Land Court on the 1st June 1969 (Source: Ministry of Justice) AWMM
    • Andrew Todd was married to Joan Frances (nee) Grimstone. Marriage registered 1960 # folio 16691.
      Andrew was born 20th November 1904. Death registered 1974 as Ref # 36900.
      Prior to being Chief Judge, he worked as Law Draftsman at old Parliament House.
      Andrew and Joan resided at 12 Roseneath Terrace, Mt Victoria with two step sons Jon and Howard Gable. His daughter resides in England married to Sculptor Michael Gillespie. Public - Howard - Other relative - 8 March 2017 - This information is provided by Andrew's step son Howard Gable. I resided with Andrew 1960-1969 before leaving to live in Australia. Birth and death information is from official records. I regularly went to his office in the old Parliament buildings as a teenager. He was a gentle, wise and generous step father to me, and I will be forever grateful for his wise parenting and love of my mother Joan, whom he cared and provided for with largess.
