    • Served in RNZAF from 4 March 1942 - 6 January 1946 and was in Reserve until 11 December 1946 AWMM
    • J F Rose, known as Jack, returned to the UK and enlisted in the RAF after being demobilized in NZ.
      Jack served with the RAF in Germany as a flying instructor until around 1954 when he returned to live in Wellington, NZ, where he was employed in quality control by the Ford car company.
      While in Germany he married Rosemary, a German national, and adopted her two children Hans and Gabrielle. who all emigrated to NZ with Jack on his return.
      Jack continued to fly recreationally until giving up his license due to the onset of multiple sclerosis sometime around 1970. Public - mike - Other relative - 24 July 2021 - conversations with my uncle Jack F Rose 1979.
