    "AC1 (RTD) John Leonard Leary NZC4310897 RNZAF 1943 to 24 December 1945.
    Passed away peacefully at the Levin Home for War Veterans on Wednesday 30th March 2022, aged 97 years.
    Dearly beloved husband of Pauline and the late Valerie. Loving father of Jill, Susan and Michael. Grandfather of his five grandchildren and great grandfather of his 10 great grandchildren. Many thanks to the management and staff of the Levin Home for War Veterans for their care of John whilst he was a resident at the home.
    A service for John will be held at Harvey's Chapel, 284 Oxford Street, Levin, on Tuesday 12 April at 2.00pm. Messages c/- 26/91 Mako Mako Road, Levin 5510.
