  • Fred Bailes was my mothers brother as well as being my uncle and I spent many hours listen to Fred with his stories on flying back from France over the English Chanel towards the White cliffs of Dover in the Wellington bombers as he was a tail end gunner as well as wireless- it is something I will always remember Regards Keith Scott
