AIRMAN PATIENT MARRIES NURSE.—Warrant Officer J. J. Marshall, R.N.Z.A.F., of Tauranga, and Nurse Patricia Emilie Walthew were married recently at St. Ethelreda’s Church, Ely. Warrant Officer Marshall’s aircraft caught fire and crashed on its return from a raid on Duisburg, and he had both legs amputated at an R.A.F. hospital, where he first met Nurse Walthew. The High Commissioner for New Zealand (Mr W. J. Jordan) and the Hon. D. G. Sullivan, Minister of Supply and Munitions, were guests at the wedding. The bride and bridegroom cutting the cake.
