  • Embarked on the Dominion Monarch, Auckland-Liverpool, via PC and Halifax 22nd June 1942, Disembarked in Halifax, on the 15 of July 1942.

    Earle Clarence Sandiford married Emily Siska on September 8, 1943, they met while she was working at the officers mess in Portage la Prairie. During the war Emily moved to New Zealand to stay with Earle's parents while he served overseas. Afterwards, the travelled across the Pacific between Canada and New Zealand following economic opportunties, they immigrated to Canada in January 1952 with their daughter Judy and settled in the suburbs of Vancouver.
