      Lived at Woodland Road, Johnsonville, until moving to Bath Street, Levin, in 1919.
      After taking sportsmen on big game hunting safaris to South Africa and Rhodesia Clarence and Pauline moved to south Africa in the early 1930s. Pauline died there in 1933, and Clarence died in 1941 while trying to obtain passage back to New Zealand.
