  • My Great Granduncle Duncan. The family resemblance is easy to see. It was a different time and I cannot pretend to understand the feeling of patriotism and willingness to serve and die for your country such as these soldiers had. They were all heroes and we owe our freedom to their sacrifice. Rest in peace. Lest we forget

  • Duncan McPhee is my Great Grand Uncle. Being able to see a photo of him is awesome. I can see some family resemblance. Growing up I never knew we had lost anyone at Gallipoli, until now. I am very proud of him and all the Kiwis who have served to protect our lovely country.
