  • I had wanted to attend the Centenary commemoration this year at Passendaele. Unfortunately I am unable to do so. I had so wanted to have someone from our family pay homage to Gordons' sacrifice and for someone from home give life to his headstone, just to be there and share the same sentiment with others as we remember.

    We remember Gordon with love.
    From his niece,
    Reta Mahoney
