  • Three brothers served in WW1 Thomas (Tom) Edward Eggleston (62945); William Arthur Eggleston (44101) and Robert (Bert) Henry Eggleston (27250)

    Captured on the 16th April 1918 and taken as a Prisioner of War. Located at the Camp Soltau, Germany in August 1918. Released from Captivity and arrived Ripon on December 31st 1918. Embarked for return to New Zealand per SS. Corinthiq. AWMM
