  • William Malone was the husband of Ida K. Malone, 35 Brompton Square, London.

    Trained solicitor.

    William had four sons and a daughter with his first wife Elinor Lucy Malone (nee Penn). Three of his sons also served at Gallipoli [Terence Joseph Malone (11/553) and Edmond Leo Malone (11/699) and Maurice Patrick Malone (11/1338)], a fourth son [Brian Malone (5/2)] served in Samoa and daughter Nora nursed with the Red Cross in England. "Two of Malone's sons, Edmond and Terry, fought at Gallipoli with the Wellington Mounted Rifles". He had a further two sons, Denis and Barney, and a daughter, Molly, with his second wife Ida Katharine Malone (nee Withers).
