    Marched out Sling Camp and proceeded overseas to France, 20 March 1918; marched in NZ Base Depot, Etaples, 23 March 1918.
    Posted 1st NZ Entrenching Bn, 27 March 1918.
    Posted No 17 Company, 1st Bn, Wellington Infantry Regiment, 12 May 1918.
    Found guilty, 19 June 1918, of (1) being absent from unit lines after 2130 hours, (2) making a false statement; awarded 7 days' Field Punishment No 2.
